The Venetian lagoon little old town, indeed, still holds the fishermen and theirsea charm, with its fish boats, the typical lanes (‘calli’), the bridges, and the canals that connect the many small islands and form the fascinating historic centre.

The weekly market, one of the largest in the entire Veneto region, takes place along Corso del Popolo every Thursday, and is called ‘el zioba’ in the Chioggia dialect.
