Vogalonga on Grand Canal

Next 28 May will see the Vogalonga on the Grand Canal, the an amateur recreational sporting event, in which all types of rowing boats can participate, no limits on weight, size or number of rowers.
Established in1974, the regatta is dedicated to all enthusiasts of Venetian rowing, to revive this ancient tradition, and to support a campaign against decay and wave motion in the Venice Lagoon.
